Marvin Wooten

Marvin Wooten, age 79, of Greenbrier, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at St Thomas Midtown, Nashville.  Per Mr. Wooten's request, their will be no services.

Mr. Wooten was born January 22, 1943 in Nashville to the late Marvin Gilbert Wooten and Lucille Fletcher Timmons.  He was raised in Nashville and went to Joelton High School.  Mr. Wooten served in the US Navy.  Mr. Wooten was retired from Metro General Hospital, Nashville TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wooten was preceded in death by his sons, Danny Ray Simms, Dewayne Wooten, brother Bobby Wooten and sisters, Shirley Reeves, Virgie Cogbill, and Elizabeth Thaxton.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Wooten, sons Brian (Jessica) Stover, and Daniel (Janie) Wooten.
