Jeffrey Anthony Abell, fondly known as Jeffro, passed away on May 10th, 2023, in Nashville, TN, at the age of 60. He was born on March 7th, 1963, in French Camp, CA, and was the first of six siblings.

From an early age, Jeffrey held a pinnacle position in his family. He lived an active lifestyle through martial arts, sports, and various laborious jobs. As the years progressed, his wisdom and knowledge increased with his experiences, tempering his innate leadership skills. Jeffrey became known for giving advice to anyone who wanted mentoring or just being present for those without.

Jeffrey had a passion for fishing, hunting, martial arts, and cooking. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his loved ones.

Jeffrey is survived by his son, Anthony Raven Abell of Tempe, AZ, one brother Michael (Michelle) Rapada of Carrier Mills Illinois, three sisters, Joey Reed of Cincinnati Ohio, Melissa (Roy) Mauney of Cave In Rock Illinois, Crystal Miller of Harrisburg Illinois, and fiance, Jane A. Newton of Fairview Tn. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother Emilie Reed, his Dad Joseph Reed, his grandparents Joseph R. Reed and Helen Reed, his sister Sheila Fuller, and niece Micah Fuller.

A celebration of life in honor of Jeff will be held at Stonefort Community Center in Stonefort, Illinois, on May 13th, 2023, starting at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A dinner will be held immediately after for all who want to attend. Jeffrey will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
