Gloria Harris

Gloria Parks Harris, 90, of Nashville passed away peacefully at home April 23, 2023. She was born September 5, 1932 in Carthage, North Carolina to Nellie Vaughan and Norman Parks. She was raised by Houston and Maude Parks.  Affectionately known as Granny Goose, Gloria was active throughout her community with 4-H, and loved entertaining in her home.  She was a wonderful decorator and cook who took pride in her family and community. She worked as a registered nurse in her early career, but later became a real estate agent, working in and around Nashville area.

Her special companions were her beloved dogs, Pup 1 and Pup 2 and she found great entertainment watching Nashville's local CBS station Channel 5.
