Sue Ann Moore

Sue Ann Moore passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026 at her home in Brentwood Tennessee on July 2, 2026 at the age of 96. She is survived by her son, S. Meade Moore III (Beth), grandchildren: Alexander Meade Moore ( Allison) and William Andrew Moore; great grandchildren Chandler Meade Moore and Parker Alice Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Sandy Meade Moore Jr, her son Philip L. Moore, her parents Edward and Alma Kaeser, brother Ed Kaeser, and sister Katherine K. Lee.

Sue Ann was born in Nashville Tennessee and lived there her entire life. She met Sandy Moore at Hillsboro High School. They both attended Vanderbilt University and shared a beautiful life together for 69 years. Always active and vivacious, Sue Ann was a cheerleader at Hillsboro and played golf until her early eighties. A talented artist, as well as skilled in sewing, knitting and needlepoint, she was a member of many related groups. Sue Ann especially treasured her time as a member of the Centennial Club. A life long member of Woodmont Christian Church, she enjoyed many lasting friendships there. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and a cherished friend to many.

A private family gravesite service will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials can be sent to Woodmont Christian Church, 3601 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville Tennessee 37215, or to the charity of your choice.
