Bon Aqua

Stephen Paul Tucker, 67, passed away early Friday morning, Nov. 28, 2025 surrounded by loving friends and family at his home in Bon Aqua, Tenn.
Steve was born Aug. 9, 1958, in Dickson, Tenn., to Edward Morris Tucker and Mildred Bissinger Tucker. A former servant of the National Guard, Steve worked in construction and anywhere he could get his hands dirty. He was a passionate outdoorsman who never allowed a day to pass by where he was not outside. He had also developed many survivor skills as a boy and in the Guard that made him inseparable from nature. Steve was a skilled marksman and archer, who never missed; A fisherman who loved the water; and a master craftsman who enjoyed creating something from nothing with his bare hands. Most importantly, above all the skills and abilities, he was passionate about his children; there was nothing he took more pride in than his sons and daughters. He loved all his nieces and nephews who passionately knew him as “Uncle Steve”. Steve is survived by his sons, Jeremiah Tucker, Columbia; Mason Myatt, Lyles; daughters, Stephanie Harrell; Joelton; Amanda Garrett; Centerville; brother, Robert Tucker, Dickson. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Tucker; mother, Mildred Tucker, brothers, John “Johnny” Tucker; and David Tucker. Steve will be remember especially for his wild heart and unbridled spirit; as well as his ability to win over the room with his humor and charm. A small memorial will be announced at a later date for family and close friends. His final request was to spread his ashes around his favorite fishing spot on the Piney River. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things are passed away” ~Revelation 21:4~
