Roberta Thompson

Roberta Ann Thompson, age 80 of Lebanon, TN passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Southern Manor in Lebanon. She was born April 30, 1935 in Paris, TN.Mrs. Thompson had worked in many occupations over the years, her last was serving as book keeper in the furniture retail business.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Bratzler; second husband, Robert F. Thompson; her mother, Claribel Jones Morris; father Roy McEvoy; sister, Betty Davis; aunt, Lola Bosstick; and uncle, Perry Bosstick.She is survived by her sons, Jacob L. (Brenda) Bratzler of Osceola, IN, Kurt R. (Jenise) Bratzler of Long Beach, MS, and John D. (Audra) Thompson of Marietta, GA; daughter, Libby (Ahyh) Maxey of Mt. Juliet, TN; brothers, Tom (Sally) Morris of Wyandotte, MI and Mike Morris of Paris, TN; sister, Kay (Jim) Wallace of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Justin Bratzler, Ahliah Bratzler, Aaron Maxey, Laura Perry, Isaac Maxey, Lily Thompson, Kennedy Thompson, Nathan Bratzler and Nikolaus Bratzler; and great-grandchildren, Paige Bratzler, Gabriel Perry, Layne Perry and Logan Perry.A gathering with the family will begin at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the LaGurado Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Highway 109 in LaGuardo, TN with a memorial service to be conducted at 3 P.M. with Rev. Dr. Denny Shepard officiating.Roberta had requested cremation.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LaGuardo Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
