Richard Messick Sr.

Richard "Rick" Messick Sr., age 72 of Nashville, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Mr. Messick was born June 11, 1944 in Murfreesboro, TN.A native of Murfreesboro,he was a member of Lakeshore Christian Church and worked as a realtor for 39 years in the Nashville area.Mr. Messick was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Neva Messick.He leaves behind his son, Richard Messick Jr. of Mt Juliet, TN; daughters, Christi (John) Longmire of Smyrna, TN and Vicki (Bro. Denny) Keen of Adolphus, KY; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.A celebration of Mr. Messick's life will be conducted at 11 A.M., Friday, November 4, 2016 at Lakeshore Christian Church , 5434 Bell Forge Lane East in Antioch, TN with Pastor Randy Cordell officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 P.M. in the Maple Grove General Baptist Church Cemetery in Scottsville, KY. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Lakeshore Christian Church.
