Reginald H General, 89 of Nashville, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, at St Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 1, 2022, at the Northwest Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2010 23rd Ave N., Nashville, TN 37208.

Bro. General was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 30, 1952.  He married Joan General April 24, 1954, (she preceded him in death in 2015). In their 61 years of marriage, they lived a self-sacrificing life devoted to the missionary work of studying and teaching the Bible.  He along with his wife were privileged to serve in the Congo of Brazzaville, West Africa, through Florida, the states of South and North Carolinas, before settling in Tennessee.

He is survived by his Nephews H. Eric Jackson (Sandra) and Dennis M Jackson (Renee) and “favorite” Niece Tawana Rogers (Dan), 10 great + 9 great-great nieces and nephews with one on the way. His parents Herman and Myrtle General & Sister Khadijah Muhammad preceded him in death. He shall be greatly remembered by West Congregation Kingdom Hall where he was faithful and loved by all the brothers and sisters of the ministry.
