Ransom Zachary Ritter

Ransom Zachary Ritter, age 28, of LaVergne, Tennessee, passed away on March 8, 2024. 

Born on April 8, 1995, in Nashville, Tennessee  to the late Ransom and Laura (Seely) Ritter. 

Zack was a vibrant soul who brought joy to those around him with his infectious laughter. He was known for his energetic spirit and love for running track. Zack also had a passion for music , playing basketball with his friends ,and cherished his role as a fun uncle to his nieces.

Zack is survived by his sisters, Chelsea Crawford (Jesse) and Rachael Thompson (David), nieces Allie Thompson, Ava Thompson, and Lily Crawford, grandmothers Lois Whelehon and Mary Jo Ritter, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura (Seely) Ritter,father Ransom Ritter III,brothers ,Zachary Christopher Ritter and Joshua Chaplin, grandfathers William Seely and Ransom Ritter Jr, grandmother Queenie (Dodson) Ritter, step grandfather Mike Whelehon and Uncle Perce (PeeWee) Ritter.

Zack attended LaVergne High School and studied at Middle Tennessee State University. He excelled breaking the state record for track and leaving a lasting legacy in the athletic community.

Zack's vibrant presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
