Paul Boggs

Paul Eugene Boggs, age 79 of Erin, TN passed away Sunday July 10, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN. Mr Boggs was born March 1, 1937 in Carter County, KY to the late Bijah and Opal Boggs.Paul served in the US Army and Air Force and retired from Trane Company. He was a member of Griffin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene. An avid outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a devoted spouse, father and grandfather.He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Eugene Boggs; siblings, Faye (Robert) Webster, Ron Boggs, and Jimmy Boggs.He is survived by his wife, Hilldean Boggs; daughter (in-law), Susan (Jerry) Boggs-Reynolds; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Boggs and Breanna Boggs; siblings, Roy Boggs, Betty Adkins, Ruth Looney, Bonnie Lowery, and Theresa Hamrick.A memorial service will be conducted at 5 P.M., Friday July 15, 2016 at Griffin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 120 Highway 46 N, Erin, TN. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until the time of service at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Valley Cemetery Fund at Regions Bank.
