In Loving Memory of Nolan Charles Emery
Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend
With deep sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Nolan Charles Emery, a bright light in this world who left us far too soon. Nolan’s life was marked by his generous spirit, creative brilliance, unwavering faith, and the deep love he showed to everyone around him.
Nolan is the cherished son of Michelle Roof and Paul Aaron Emery, and a beloved brother to Mariah Faith Franco and her husband, Ethan Nathel Franco. He was a devoted uncle to Julianna Faith Franco and Asa Nathel Franco. Nolan is also survived by his brother, Jacob Paul Emery, paternal grandparents, Paul Daniel and Susan Diane Emery, a host of uncles and cousins and his loyal dog, Daisy.
He is also survived by his chosen family—Chris Sharos, Jenna Hunts, Corbin Huff, Wyatt Cain, Trevor, Daniel, and his extended Tootsie’s Circuit Family—who shared in Nolan’s journey and meant the world to him.
Nolan adopted and loved his dog, Daisy. Daisy loved and protected him until his last breath. Nolan studied sound engineering and apologetics for the Christian faith. He made such a huge impact in the Music City, Nashville, in a year’s time as an audio engineer. His audio engineering passion was evident in every freelance opportunity, inspiring everyone around him with his talent, dedication, and love for the art and its people. He was interested in photography and had a keen ability for capturing a moment in ways that allowed everyone present to fully enjoy. He had a passion for nature and everything outdoors. Nolan’s heart was fearless and motivated by serving anyone he met. His high and dry sense of humor always brought a laugh, just ask anyone who knew him. Desert Springs Community Church had a huge impact on his life. In his own words, “My passion goes beyond the job description of a sound engineer. My true mission is to mentor, teach, and lead people of all ages into meaningful discovery of their spiritual giving and service to God’s Kingdom in the local church.” Nolan is dearly loved and will be forever missed by his family and friends.
Nolan is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles Freeman and Betty Bernice Roof.
