Neal Alexander Reedy was called home to Heaven at the age of 48 on November 7, 2025.
Neal was born March 21, 1977, in Charleston, West Virginia son of Ralph Stephen Reedy and Kathy “Fields” Reedy. He was born again on April 8, 2012, to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Neal was known for loving the outdoors and having a larger-than-life personality. He loved his family so passionately that he enjoyed being the host at gatherings. He wanted to bring everyone together for games, fun, conversation and food. He loved saying grace with everyone holding hands gathered before a meal. He had a quick wit, was proficient at making everyone laugh. He was extremely hard working. He had a heart for helping others. He loved his dogs, fishing, hunting, sunlight on his face, taking hikes in the woods, bird watching, building huge bonfires, houses and anything fun or cool but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. He would use his talented ingenuity to create so many unique fun games for them to play.
He is survived by his parents, whom he adored, Steve and Kathy Reedy; his wife & love of his life, Ginny Reedy; all of his children and grandchildren whom he loved deeply, his son Austin (Brittney) Reedy, his daughter Kara (Malachi)Thomas, his bonus daughter and son Chelsea & Kyle Harris; his grandchildren, Zoe Reedy, Christopher & Matthew Duncan, Ema & Ava Williams, Mason & Malaya Thomas, Hayden & Kohen Young ;His fur babies, Duke & Daisy Reedy. And the rest of his extended family that is too many to mention.
He was preceded in death by his brother David Reedy, his aunt Mintha Reedy, his uncle Denver Reedy and his grandmother, Helen Reedy, his grandfather Buck Reedy. His fur baby Luke Reedy.
His family will be having a Celebration of Life to be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate in his honor to Lifepoint Church, Smyrna Tn campus, whom he was a member of or Strong Tower Church Lafayette, Tn campus where he enjoyed attending occasionally and was planning to make his future home Church.
