Michael Keene

Michael J. Keene, age 57 of Greenbrier, TN passed away on July 3, 2015. He was born January 3, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to J.B. Keene and JoAnna Stockett.Mr. Keene grew up in Hendersonville, TN and attended Hendersonville and White House High School. He worked as a mechanic and a truck driver. He will long be remembered for his skill as a mechanic, being able to listen to an engine over a phone and pinpoint the problem in seconds. His ability to fix things was truly amazing. He enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes. Above all, he was a family man who loved his wife immensely and absolutely adored his children and grandchildren.Mr. Keene was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Renee Pulley and has been reunited with his beloved grandparents, Johnny Britton and Willie Mae Keene.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathy Keene; daughter, Danna Renee Keene (Marty) Stockton; son, John Britton Keene; his father, J.B. Keene; mother, JoAnna Stockett; grandchildren, Caylie and Jace Stockton; sister, Pam Calhoun; brother, Sean Keene; his best four-legged friend, Pepdog and many other family members and friends.A celebration of Mr. Keene's life will be held from 4 P.M until 8 P.M. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Green Ridge Church of Christ, 2215 US Highway 41 South, Greenbrier, TN 37073.Arrangements entrusted to Nashville Cremation Center, 8120 Sawyer Brown Road, Suite 108, Nashville, TN 37221.
