Matthew Pelters

Matthew Paul Pelters, age 48, of Antioch, TN passed away suddenly on December 3, 2016, after a long battle with cancer.Matt graduated from Airline High School, Bossier City, LA. He later graduated with a degree in culinary arts from The Art Institute of Nashville. Matt enjoyed music, concerts, movies and spending time with family and friends. He touched the hearts of many people and was a friend to all, and he will be greatly missed.He was preceded in death by his loving father, Paul Pelters. His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Judy Pelters of Antioch; his sister, Holli Ellis; and his brother, William Pelters. Matt was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be conducted at 2 :00 P.M., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Antioch, TN. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until the time of service.In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Matt P. Pelters to St Mark’s Episcopal Church, 3100 Murfreesboro Pike, Antioch, TN 37013.
