Mark Edward Schiro

August 10, 1963 — April 22, 2024

Hopkinsville, KY

Mark Edward Schiro, passed away of natural causes Monday, April 22nd 2024 at St. Thomas in Nashville at the age of 60.

He is survived by his daughters, Katelynn and Carmella Schiro, his two granddaughters, Gabriella and Zoey Collins, his mother, Patricia Ray, his brothers, Phillip and Michael (Ladessa) Schiro, his sister, Deborah (Bill) Henderson, his half sisters, Carol Kren (David) and Cindy Schiro, and many nieces and nephews.

Mark was a resident of Hopkinsville, KY and worked at Stanley Black and Decker for 29 years. He was originally from Tampa, FL and absolutely loved the beach, it was his favorite place. He vacationed there every summer visiting his lifelong best friend, Jeff. Mark loved his family and friends more than anything, especially his girls. He was the best Daddy, and the best BamBam. The true definition of a provider and a protector. He never knew how to sit still, he always had to fix something, build something, or clean something. He worked hard his entire life and was a perfectionist at everything he accomplished. Mark was truly one of a kind, and so special to everyone who had the opportunity to get to know him. He has left an irreplaceable mark in this world, and although he will be heavily missed, he has left us all with some unforgettable, special memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Debow Park under the Troy Sowell Pavilion on Saturday April 27th from 11am to 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, financial contributions in memory of Mark Schiro can be made to the nonprofit lung cancer charity, LUNGEVITY.
