Lynne Davis

Lynne Joanne Davis, 77, loving wife and mother, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Charter Senior Living of Hermitage, TN, her home for the past  two years.
Lynne was born on July 8, 1945, to John and Pearl (Schaar) Demlow. She was raised in Lombard, IL, with her beloved sister, Judy. Lynne married her high school sweetheart William (Mike) Michael Davis, on November 14, 1964. They lived in Villa Park, IL, for a short time, then moved to Hanover Park, IL, until ultimately settling in Elk Grove Village,
IL, where they raised their two children, Kimberlee and William (Bill). Lynne was a kind, caring, gentle, very sweet lady that was friendly and welcoming to everyone.

She worked in the office at the JCPenney Distribution Center in Elk Grove Village, IL, for over 20 years. She loved her job, was proud of her work, and made many
lifelong friends there. In 1998, her and Mike retired and moved to Tennessee. In their retirement years, Lynne and Mike enjoyed traveling and socializing with their many friends. Lynne also helped care for her grandchildren.

Lynne is preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl (Schaar) Demlow; her sister Judith and brother-in-law Michael Rouille, and her son William (Bill) Davis. She is survived by her husband William (Mike) Davis, her daughter Kimberlee (Tim) Goard; grandchildren Cody (Caitlin), James, Kaylee, Ben, Mariah, Mackenzie, Will, and Daniel; brother-in-law Philip (Leanne) Davis of Jacksonville, FL; her nephews John (Teresa) Rouille of Elgin, IL, Mark (Andrea) Rouille of Genoa, IL, and their children Danielle (Brent) Solar, Jeffery (Natalie), Gabe; nephew Chris (Doreen) Rouille of Tucson, AZ and their children Xander and Rumur, and her cousins William (Paula) Demlow of Sandwich, IL, and Ray (Linda) Schaar of Omaha, NE.

Lynne had many dear lifelong friends from her school days, and made many more close friendships throughout her life. She loved to shop, and enjoyed buying gifts for family and friends. Her children, grandchildren, and family were most precious to her. She will be missed beyond words, but will live forever in our hearts. No funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. She will be laid to rest with her son, and close to her sister, and parents at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL at a later date. The family invites you to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Lynne’s honor.
