Lynn Edward Carter

Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, Lynn Edward Carter, 75, departed this life at Alive Hospice on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Lynn leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 43 years, Mary; his sister Teresa Carter; his daughter Tracey Carter-Glass and her husband Ricky; his son Brad and his wife Emily; and his grandson Josh Alexander and his wife Sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Doris Carter, and his stepdaughter Leigh Anne Darby.

Lynn was a man who deeply loved his family and had a passion for storytelling. His gift for conversation meant that he never met a stranger; within minutes, people he just met would often find themselves sharing their life stories with him.

In accordance with his wishes, the family will gather privately to share stories and memories, celebrating the remarkable life he lived and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him.

He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
