Age 73 of Nashville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, June 1, 2020. Survived by loving family & friends.Lenora Lockett-Peoples born October 16, 1946 in Nashville TN. Lenora was the first of nine children.
Born to the late James Lockett Sr. and Marjorie Storey-Lockett. She was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mount Nebo Baptist Church. Lenora was a loving mother, sister, and aunt.She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories son, Edward (Gina) Todd; siblings , James (Brenda) Lockett Jr., Mildred (Larry) Patton Sr., Ruby (Herman) Greene and Valerie Lockett; grandchildren, Jammonttay and Moneashewa Coleman, Cecil and Cierra Payne; great-grandchildren, Ja'Niya Darvin, La'Tiya Payne, Jayla Patterson, Brooklyn Ford, Jamion, Treyvon, Marley-Israel, Ke'Maree Coleman; nieces and nephews, Katherine (Paul) Mastin, LaToya Nevels, Legressa Toney, Latricia (Timothy) Johnson, Pamela (Keith) Jordan, Lynda Gayle and Larry Patton Jr., Chantelle (Brent) Jackson, Wanda, William, Shanitra, Tasha, DeChandra, DeAndra, Connett Lockett Jr., Mark, Shandra, and David (Lauren) Nunn Jr., Victoria and Robert Curry Jr., Wendell King Jr., James Mayo, Thomas Murray, William Osborne, Reginald Robinson- Lockett, Ashley Wilson and a host of great nieces and nephews, family and friends.Private Entombment @ Hendersonville Memorial Gardens
