Lee Southerland

Lee Southerland, age 77 of Hendersonville, TN passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Mr. Southerland was born June 19, 1938 in Greenville, SC to Ralph and Beulah Rice Southerland.He was talented musician and songwriter, playing the piano and tuning pianos in Middle TN for many years. He also spent many years as a bus driver for a number of country music acts. He will be remembered for his amazing sense of humor and as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.He was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alanda Southerland; daughter, Kim Southerland Higgs; sons, Steve and Greg Southerland; sister, Wilma Edmonds; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, TN.
