Justin Gary Mattila

Today, we celebrate the life of Justin Gary Mattila, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. At 30, Justin left us far too soon on January 1, 2025, but his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

Born on July 5, 1994, in Fairfield, California, Justin carried the warmth and kindness of his upbringing throughout his life. He is survived by his parents Justin and Rhonda Mattila of Ceres California, and Michelle and Daniel Petrey of Chapmansboro Tennessee, his siblings Jacquelien, Chandler, and Macen (nephew) of Tennessee, John, Salena, Jace, and Kayla of California, and countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Justin was the light of our world! Wherever he went, he effortlessly made friends, and if he cared about you, there was nothing he wouldn’t do to support you. It was almost impossible to find Justin without a smile, and his laughter had a way of lifting everyone's spirits. If you were feeling down, he'd do anything to bring a smile to your face.

His passion for the outdoors was unmatched. He began riding dirt bikes at the age of four, sparking a lifelong love for thrill and adventure. He loved to challenge himself and had no fear.
