Joseph Conway, Sr.

Joseph Michael Conway, Sr., age 92 of Madison, TN passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Mr. Conway was born February 19, 1923 in San Francisco, CA to the late Michael and Mary Cullen Conway.
Mr. Conway spent his entire life as a resident of San Francisco before moving to Nashville in recent years to be with family. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Marine Firemen's Union, retiring with over 50 years of service. He was an avid Giants and 49ers fan and enjoyed horse racing. Above all, he will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who loved and supported his family.He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Conway, Jr.; his parents and many siblings. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Reyes Nuestro Conway; daughters, Josephine Conway, Alicia Francisco and Mary Ann Conway; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many other family members and friends.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
