John Douglas Rose, age 60 of Nashville, TN passed away July 14, 2018 in Madison, TN. He was born September 19, 1957 in Nashville, TN to Joseph James Rose and the former Margaret Comelia Davis.John, a long-time Nashville resident, was a line worker with S & S cycle.He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Rose; father, Joseph Rose; brother, James Rose; and sisters, Sheree Rose and Carol Obney.He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kay Rose; his children, sons, William James Shirley, Anthony Lynn Shirley, Daniel Lee Shirley, Shawn Douglas Rose and Robert Paul Rose; sisters, Judy Kay Rose Creviston and Sandra Rose Geitz; brother, Earl Eugene Rose; grandchildren, Thomas Jesse Barnes, Daniel Lee Shirley II, Lauren Elizabeth Shirley, Cheyenne Summer Shirley and David Anthony Shirley.
