John Louis Downs Jr., age 68, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 30th, 2018. Born in Nashville, and a resident of Hendersonville for 30 years, John was a local musician and keyboardist, designer and owner of BIG Microphones, and a former member of the Issac Litton Marching 100+. He was one of a kind, and he will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Downs, Sr.; mother, Addie Davis Downs; and his son, David Downs. He is survived by his brother. Richard (Sue) Downs; son , John (Angie) Downs; daughter, Ashley (Chris) Hooper; and grandchildren, Courtney and David Downs. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John L. Downs to Hendersonville Home Bound Meals Program at 381 West Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
