Joan Mayfield

Joan Nell Heflin Mayfield, born Feb 3, 1953, passed away at her home on Dec 1, 2018. She was 65 years old.She is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Heflin, father, E.W. Heflin, and brother Charles “Chuck” Heflin. Survived by sister Lisa Heflin Cook, sons Chris Etheridge and Austin Sherry, and Granddaughter Miranda Etheridge.She will be remembered for her tenacious spirit, wicked sense of humor, and unconditional love and loyalty for her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.A memorial service will be held at Lifehouse Church, 223 Gifford Pl, Joelton, TN 37080 on Dec 8 at 11:00 am.In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Magdelene House at https://thistlefarms.org/pages/support
