Jeanne Wright

Jeanne K. Wright, age 70 of Nashville, TN passed away August 19, 2017. Mrs. Wright was born May 31, 1947 in Davidson County, TN to the late Rufus Elisah Knight and Elizabeth Coggins Knight.Mrs. Wright graduated from John Overton High School in 1965 and graduated from MTSU with a degree in education. She taught Kindergarten for 34 years, beginning at Shwab Elementary School and retiring from Julia Green Elementary School in 2005. She was awarded "Teacher of the Year" in 1985. She attended First Christian Church and Aspen Grove Christian Church. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents and brother. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Alan Wright and sister, Mary Beth Phillips. A celebration of her life will be conducted at 12 P.M., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Aspen Grove Christian Church, 274 Mallory Station Road in Franklin, TN with refreshments to follow. Visitation with the family will be held from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
