James Mccoy

James Albert “Jim” McCoy, age 77 of Lincoln, NE, died on March 20, 2018 in Nashville, TN after a stroke. Jim was born April 22, 1940 in Lincoln to Lloyd and Alcie McCoy.Jim graduated from Lincoln High School in 1958. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Prairie.Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lee.Jim was dearly loved by his family and many friends and is survived by his brother, Dick McCoy and wife, Glenn; son, Jeff McCoy; daughter, Colleen Woolard; sister-in-law, Charlene McCoy; grandchildren, Brittany Kendall, Heather Stone, Siera Bridges, Lane Bridges, Maddie Woolard, Ethan Woolard, and Ian McCoy; great-grandchild, Nora Stone.A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lincoln , NE and arrangements will be announced as they become available.
