Hubert Crawford

Hubert Lee Crawford, age 73, of Ridgetop, TN, passed away at Skyline Medical Center, March 16, 2019.Lee was a proud Military Veteran. He worked for South Central Bell for 35 years. After retirement from SCB, he was Vice-President of SAY Distributing and Operations Manager of IBS, LLC. Then finally enjoyed the last 12 yrs of his life in full retirement.Lee enjoyed NASCAR races, playing golf, working in his garage, and the company of family and friends. When his wife Cindy was alive, they enjoyed traveling, cruises, and the occasional casino night.Lee was born August 14, 1945 in Greenbrier, TN, the son of the late Henry Seay Crawford and Pauline England Crawford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Cindy Crawford.He is survived by his brothers, Ray Crawford and Charles Crawford; sister, Joan Parchman; children, Bill Smith, Brock Smith, Chris Crawford, and Dawn Harris; and his grandchildren, Brittany Giles, Kayla Long, Megan Smith, Derek Gordon, Sarah Beverly Crawford, Christopher Lee Crawford II, Nicholas Groves, and Conner Harris.A celebration of his life will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, 2619 Hwy 41 South, Greenbrier, TN, with H. D. Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service. “I am not ashamed to say that no man I ever met was my father's equal, and I never loved any other man as much.”
