Gary Hehnen

Gary Albert Hehnen, age 65 of Ashland City, TN passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016. Mr. Hehnen was born June 2, 1950 in Memphis, TN, one of five children of George and Nancy Hehnen.He will be remembered as a true renaissance man. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially being on the water canoeing or rafting. He was a very unique person and he never met a stranger.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Hehnen; and sister, Joanne Wells.He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hehnen; five children; step-son, Sean Johnson; sister, Lisa Wright; brother, Rick Hehnen; several grandchildren, including Zach and Emily; and numerous nieces and nephews.A celebration of Mr. Hehnen's life will be conducted from 1 P.M. until 4 P.M., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Ashland City Senior Center, 104 Ruth Drive, Ashland City, TN 37015.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
