Eric Paul Garner, age 25 of Spring Hill, TN, passed away June 16, 2022.
He was born on November 8, 1996, in Tulsa, OK. He attended Summit High School in Spring Hill and worked as the Kitchen Manager at Nelly’s Italian Cafe and Pizza in Spring Hill. Eric also proudly held the unofficial title of “Chief of Entertainment” for customers and coworkers with his “mad pizza dough tossing skills.”
Eric was a gentle giant that happily spread his love and laughter everywhere he went. He never met a stranger because his goal in life was to connect with anyone he encountered along the way. He was an incredible brother, uncle, son and friend who has left an Eric-sized hole in the hearts of all who loved him.
There will never be anything or anyone that can fill the void his passing has left. His laugh was legendary and the most beautiful sound you could hear. He had impeccable manners and gave the most amazing hugs. All of these things will be missed greatly by anyone who knew him. We will love and miss you forever, Eric!
Eric is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bill and Olga Garner; Maternal grandfather, Dr. Charles Gunter. He is survived by his parents, Eddie Garner and girlfriend Tasha; Rocky and Paula Rieger: brothers, Blake (Kayla) and his hero, Gabe; nephew, Grayson; niece, Charlotte; grandmother, Carolyn Gunter; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends and coworkers that were all family to him.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the UAW Hall, located at 125 Stephen P Yokich Pkwy., Spring Hill, TN. Fellowship and a reception will follow immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers we ask that any memorial contribution be made to http://www.Autismtn.org in Eric’s name. Autistic children held a very special place in Eric‘s heart, especially his nephew Grayson.
