Donn Buettner

Donn Michael Buettner, age 73 of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully on February 22, 2018. He was born in San Rafael, CA, on November 13, 1944 to the late Kenneth and Marolee Buettner.Donn served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a talented blues singer and musician as well as an avid golfer. He will be remembered for his charming spirit and million dollar smile.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Harry Buettner.He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Helen Clair Rooney; children, Deseree (Lyle) Huber, Andrew (Amanda) Labella, Cary (Jennifer) Hagblom, Christopher Hagblom, and Kelly Hagblom; brother, David (Rebecca) Buettner; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane in Nashville, TN.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospital Hospitality House at 214 Reidhurst Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203 or by .
