“When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.”

Codey Robert Hogue, 34, born in Placerville, California on March 13, 1989, resided in Hohenwald, Tennessee, joined his mother Laura and brothers Brent and Michael in heaven on January 21, 2024.   Codey graduated from Roseburg High School in Roseburg, OR.  Beloved Husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend who proudly served both his country and community as a wildland firefighter and in the United States Army, where he received a very admirable Army Achievement Medal for his service. Codey’s passion for cars led him to obtain his certification from the NASCAR Technical Institute, where he met Sara, the mother of his two beautiful daughters. Codey had an artistic ability that was gifted from his cherished mom. His sense of adventure and love for nature led him to being an arborist. His hobbies included BMX biking, assembling classic car models and metal fabrication. He had a deep connection to music and was very intellectual. Codey is survived by his daughters Lola and Harper, his wife Sara, father Marc (Stacey), sisters: Danielle, Nikita, Sarah, Amy, brothers: Trevyn, Marc, and more family members and friends who will miss him tremendously.

The family will be celebrating his life in a private ceremony on January 26, 2024. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time, we feel there is no better way to honor his life than by planting a tree in his memory,

“And I don’t want the world to see me

Cuz I don’t think that they’d understand

When everything's made to be broken

I just want you to know who I am.”
