Charles (Chuck) Roy Perez, 56 of Old Hickory, Tennessee was born October 8, 1958 in San Francisco, California and raised in Des Plaines, Illinois. He suddenly passed on April 11, 2015.Beloved husband of Joni Anderson Perez. Stepfather of Nicole (David) Vandgrift and Jacob Andrew Schober. Son of Maria L. Perez. Brother of Cyndy Perez, Tina Perez, Bob (Donia) Perez, and Rosie Perez. Uncle of Angela (John) Demchenko, Alaina Rueter, and Olivia Rueter. Father Frank C. Perez (deceased). Beloved friend to all.Chuck was literally the sun to his wife, step-children, mother, siblings, and nieces. His family members, co-workers, and friends will feel the loss of his warmth, friendship, love and vibrant personality daily. Every day Chuck was the perfect example of how much capacity a person can have for love, how much strength a person can have, how much joy can be found in the day-to-day little things. Through Chuck his family knew security, love, safety, confidence, joy, and beauty. No matter how small or inconsequential the moment, he made the people around him feel important.
