CHARLES EDWARD HUFFMAN- Born up the hollar in Cabin Creek, WV on June 28, 1950, to William and Margaret Huffman. On December 7, 2023, he passed away in Nashville, TN after a short illness. Chuck walked on in time to spend his 52nd anniversary with his wife, Loralie Estep Huffman. They will be celebrating with his granddaughter Casey Nicole Berry, his mother and father, his brother Harold Huffman, his brother Frank Huffman, and many other beloved family members who left before him. We know he is filled with happiness but he will be loved and missed by his daughters Lorie Dotson (Joey) and Melissa Cater {Roger}; Grandchildren: Timothy {Kayla}, Araya {Chris}, Kaitlyn (Bradley), Ashley (Brandon), Johnathan {Amanda}, Hannah (Micah), Ceddrick and Michael along with his 16 great grandkids; his sisters Jean, Ida (Cubby) and Mary; and all of our huge amazing family.

The most important things in Chucks life were God and his family. He was blessed to have a huge, loving family. From cars to houses, if anyone needed help, he was first in line to fix it. His friends and family always knew they could depend on him. Most of his life he drove trucks or worked construction, but he could do anything he put his mind to. Before moving to Maryland, he built his own house. Every nail, every shingle, every roll of paint was put on by Chuck.

Chuck loved to hunt and fish. He loved spending time in the woods, which is good because his hunting skills needed some work. He got more deer with the bumper of his car than he did with his deer rifle. {Yes, he put those deer in his freezer.} He was much more successful with his fishing pole. If you wanted to make Chuck happy, park him on the water with a pole in his hand. He would sit for hours any chance he got.

He loved working on cars especially old ones, mowing grass and wood working. His woodworking skills were amazing. When he got older, he set up a wood shop where he made country style furniture, kids furniture, and baby doll furniture. His furniture was beautiful. He could see a photo of an item and recreate it custom made. Many of his family members are blessed with pieces of his work in their home.

Chuck was a quiet man with a huge heart. He was always cracking silly dad jokes. He could wake up early in the morning ready to crack jokes when everyone else just wanted to go back to bed. Life was often hard for him but, he fought every day to take care of his family. He would do whatever he had to do to take care of his family. Chuck was a man who could never be replaced.

We love you dad, to the moon……..and back!
