Chad Edward Dickens

Chad Edward Dickens went to his heavenly home on May 1st, 2025 at 3:15 pm at the home of his brother Mike Kemp after a long hard battle with cancer surrounded by family members. He was 46. Chad was under the excellent care of Highpoint Hospice. Chad was born on May 22nd, 1978 at the old Smith County Hospital. Chad was preceded in death by his mother Betty Ann Dickens and father Harlan Kemp. He was also preceded in death by his special grandparents James and Martha Haley of South Carthage. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Danny and Jerry Kemp. 

Chad is survived by his wife, Lucinda Dean Dickens of Lebanon, sister Laura Dickens, his brother Mike Kemp and wife Kathy of Hogan's Creek, aunts Sherry Hughey and Penny Poston and husband Martin Poston of Carthage. Chad is also survived by his children Leslie, Alexis, Hanna, and Lilly Ann.

Chad was a Christian and was baptized before his death. 

After cremation at Nashville Cremation Center there will be a memorial service planned at a later date.
