Martha was a dear sweet friend of ours and we already miss her.
It just didn’t seem right last Monday to not go by and pick her up for our Monday Bingo.
We loved having her there as much as she loved going.

Condolence from Kay Kilpatrick on February 17th, 2015 10:29 am

My daughter, Katy, and I lost touch with Martha after twenty plus years of
love, laughs, and tears. No one could have a better or devoted friend.
Martha had “fire in her belly” and gold in her heart.

Kay and katy

Condolence from Chris McCarthy on February 25th, 2015 2:37 pm

Charles,

I was so sorry to hear about Martha’s passing. She was a great lady and homemaker and inspired me in so many ways.

First, I remember the clean and immaculate home she made for your family. I can just see her in the window washing it and hanging up new ironed and starched curtains. Secondly, I remember what a great cook she was. Martha was one of the great care givers and she was truly interested in the welfare of others. Both of these qualities inspired me in my life.

Finally, Martha taught me to fish. I have carried that skill with me all over the world and owe her a debt of gratitude for those lessons.

Mostly, I know that Martha was blessed and proud to have a son like you!

Take care

Chris McCarthy
