
Marlene Cole Sanders, age 84 of Mount Juliet, TN, formerly of Fulton, KY, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Goodlettsville, TN. She was born in Missoula, MT on August 13, 1931 to Horace Weston and Ruth Hammond Cole.
Mr. and Mrs. Sanders were longtime residents of Fulton, KY. Mrs. Sanders was a retired RN nurse from the Fulton Hospital. She was full of laughter, always ready to toast life and a remarkable lady. Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Helen Cole Pirsko.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe Sanders of Mount Juliet, TN; son, Tom Sanders of White House, TN; daughters, Kelly “Dee Dee” (Leslie) Ringo of Clinton, KY and Jody Vargas of Orlando FL; granddaughters, Kristy Nowak of Frankfort, KY and Victoria Vargas, of Orlando, FL; grandsons, Jay Sanders of Hendersonville, TN and Jeff Sanders of Goodlettsville, TN; and great-granddaughters, Kaley Hoelscher and Violet Nowak, both of Frankfort, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
