Whenever I consider my salvation, I think of Larry who was there praying with me and my mother. While we were praying, he got up from where he knelt and went to the piano and began to play “A Child of the King.” Just moments before that, unknown to anyone, the Lord had spoken that peace to my soul that passes all understanding. I got up from my alter of mourning and went through the house telling all “I’m a Child of the King!” I felt that joy and sweet relief of forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. I think of Larry as I knew him those years ago; a kind and gentle soul with a meek heart that is pleasing to the Lord. Rest well, dear friend.
