Judith Maureen Mryncza, age 60 of Nashville, TN passed away in the company of her family on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Nashville. “Judi” was born February 18, 1957 to the late John Gaitley Price and the former Ethel Seldon Bayless.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Judi lived the majority of her life there amongst family and friends before relocating to Nashville in 2009. She received her Nursing degree and worked as a Registered Nurse for more than thirty years, touching thousands of lives. For her, nursing was about the patients and the families, and the relationships that were cultivated with them in some of their most challenging times. She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure, especially if it involved having her toes in the sand. She loved live music and probably more than anything else, she loved making memories with her grandchildren.
Judi will be remembered by her children Gary Michael (Amy), Zachary (Erin), and Sean. She will forever be in the hearts of her five grandchildren, Shelby, Alexis, Luke, Zoey, and Mia; and is also survived by her sisters, Mary Walmsley, Linda Jones, and Pam Fayer.
A celebration of Judi’s life will be held at a future date and location and arrangements will be announced when available. Memorial donations may be made in Judi’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

Judi was a very influential person to me in my nursing career. We worked at UMMS together and she always raved about her children and grandchildren. She was full of spunk and I always knew that if I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. We have kept in touch over the years and I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her family and friends and may she rest in peace.

Judi was an awesome nurse, and she was an even better supervisor. She is missed by everybody. She is one of the best supervisors I have ever worked with here. Just know that she did a lot of great work and comforted a lot of people and families in their darkest times. Take comfort in knowing that she was a godsend to the nursing profession. Also take comfort in knowing that there are thousands of lives that she has saved throughout her nursing career.

To all who loved her;
Judi was my lifelong friend.
God put us together for a special journey thru this life.
We learned how to be mothers together.
She carried her deep love of children into her nursing career.
Over the years we laughed a lot and cried a lot .
For that is what it means to live passionately.
She shared her love and affection for her children and her grandchildren.
My heart is breaking for I will miss her????????????????
Christ is welcoming her into his loving embrace and he is saying,
“Well done, my kind and faithful servant, well done.”
For all the lives she touched, were left better for knowing her.
Judi, embodied what it meant to love deeply, fiercely, fully and to show-up with who you truly are.
Prayers, for all who love her, especially her children Gary, Sean and Zach.
Lovingly,
Denise

My heart-felt condolences to Judi’s family & friends. She loved you all so very much. She delighted in her grandchildren & I know she will watch over each of you for the rest of your lives, until you meet again. She was so proud of each of you!
I had the privilege of working with Judi in Peds Oncology in Jacksonville. She was an amazing nurse & gave of herself unselfishly in all she did. The kids & their families loved her & she helped countless families navigate the worst time of their lives. She will never be forgotten.
Judi was one of the most “alive” people I ever met. She had an inner joy, zest for life & sense of humor that helped her & many of her friends & coworkers get through some tough stuff. Go bless her. She will be missed by many & remembered by all who knew her. RIP Judi. XXX
