Jim was a wonderful Childhood to Adulthood friend. He always joined us when we returned to Clarksville for visits. We called and wrote letters over the years when he was in service. He was a proud Solider and as we called military brat. We had a great time growing up and he has always been in our conversations and thoughts over many years. Dear friend you will be missed so much. Uplifting prayers for Melissa, Children, Grandchildren, other Family members and Friends. Sending love to all.

Condolence from James Todd Eggers on April 24th, 2018 1:30 pm

Melissa, Scott, and Steven, I am sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I have many fond memories dating back to NAS Fallon in the 90’s.

Condolence from Josh on April 25th, 2018 3:57 am

Had the pleasure of meeting James when I first started hanging around his son Scott. Beyond the love he shared for his son, he was the type of person who would go out of their way for someone in a bad spot. Its hard to find genuine people like that. I know the loss is hard on the family, not to mention on scott, but with the amount of love they had for each other, hopefully that can make the healing process a bit easier. Prayers are with you brother.

“Fair winds and following seas.” R.I.P.

To Scott, Gunner, and the rest of the family:
“Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.”

Mary Elizabeth Frye – 1932

He is always with you.

Condolence from Dave McNeil on May 8th, 2018 1:05 am
