As a teen I spent a lot of time visiting in his home, the man I will always call “Mr. Baker”. He was a minister back then. He always had a deep concern, compassion and love for his congregation. I knew him to be a very loving husband, father and grandfather to extended family , at that time. He was loved beyond measure by his sweet wife. There are many great examples that Mr. Baker set for me over those years. I hope that through the years those examples have been reflected in my life. A few years ago I had a chance to visit with him and catch up. Other than getting older, he hadn’t changed. The time flew by. It was time well spent and a good day. My heart and prayers go out to his loved ones. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Pastor Baker was my pastor in the late 80’s at Rivergate Calvary Temple. Many good memories of “Brother Baker.” I am sorry for your loss, Treva and the rest of the Baker family.
